Hello and welcome to i-LEAD’s Terms and Conditions. 

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) cover your use of and access to the site, training, tools and features provided by i-LEAD Self Defense NPO 218-034. 

 

  1. Interpretation and Variation

 

1.1 In the Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:

“Organization” means i-LEAD Self Defense NPO 218-034. “Participant” means any person that has signed a Registration Form which has been accepted by the Organization. “Registration Form” means the registration and application form signed by each participant. “Affiliates” means any of the Affiliates of i-LEAD as published on our website from time to time. “Terms and Conditions” as defined here. “Website” means www.i-lead.org.za or affiliated websites.

 

1.2 The Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Registration Form.

 

1.3 The Organization reserves the right to vary or revoke any of the Terms and Conditions from time to time which it may consider necessary or suitable for the regulation of the governance and the conduct of Participants. Any such change will be published on our website until revoked, and are binding on Participants.

 

  1. Agreement

 

2.1 Acceptance of a person as a Participant is at the discretion of the Organization. 

 

2.2 The Organization reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or refuse to renew the Agreement of any Participant whose conduct is, or may deemed to be in the Organization’s reasonable opinion, injurious to the character of the training or amounts to a breach of the Terms and Conditions or where such expulsion is otherwise to be in the interests of the other Participants of the training. Any Participant so expelled shall forfeit all privileges to the Agreement and shall not be entitled to any refund (if applicable), for any period during which his or her Agreement is suspended.

 

  1. Events

Details of class dates, times and location vary from time to time. All event details will be published on our Social Media Pages.

 

  1. Payment Terms

 

4.1 Details of prices are available by Enquiry and shall be as determined by the Organization from time to time. 

 

4.2 Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for events and training are made non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. Personal Belongings

 

Personal belongings are brought into the training premises at the Participant’s risk. The Organization does not accept liability for any loss or damage whatever to such items.

 

  1. Fitness & Health

 

6.1 Participants are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition. The Organization reserves the right to refuse access to any Participant if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by participating in a training.

 

6.2 Participants with the following conditions should not attend class: low/high blood pressure and cardiac irregularities. If there is any doubt, the Participant should consult his or her doctor. Participants and their guests must notify the trainer of any circumstances affecting their health, which may be exacerbated through continued use.

 

6.3 Participants are required to follow the instructions of the trainer at all times.

 

  1. Dress

 

Participants are requested to wear a form or dress appropriate to the practice.

 

  1. Safety and Hygiene

 

8.1 Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

 

8.2 In the event of a fire, Participants are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit.

 

  1. General Guidelines

 

9.1 Participants must at all times observe the trainers guidelines which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the trainer may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the training for the convenience of all Participants.

 

9.2 The Organization reserves the right to refuse admission to the training facility.

 

9.3 The Organization may, if a Participant so wishes, communicate with the Participant by “email”. By providing an email address to the Organization the Participant consents to receiving email communications from the Organization, including notices pursuant to the Terms and Conditions. The Participant also accepts any risk that email may not be a fully secure and confidential means of communication. The Organization will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a Participant in this manner.

 

9.4 The minimum age for participants is 18 years. For participants younger than 18 years, specific a Consent Form must be supplied. 

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

 

10.1 The Organization cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason. The Organization reserves the right to make alterations to the types of facilities provided, without notice and in its absolute discretion. The Organization shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except in so far as loss is by law incapable of exclusion.

 

10.2 It is the Participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any program that they follow or event that they attend. Participants accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any program or training. The Organization accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or injury of Participants or their guests to them on the training premises or outside the training location except in so far as such loss, damage, or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

 

  1. Website Terms and Conditions

 

Information published on this website is provided for the use of its visitors and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur.   1. Return / Refund Policy

 

12.1 Cancel within 48 hours after registration to get full refund. Cancel up to 7 days before your training starts and get a 50% refund.  

 

12.2 No refund is possible for cancellation within 7 days or less before training.  

 

  1. Privacy and Security Policy

 

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, affiliates and volunteers (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information on a need basis. All emails and newsletters from our site allow you to opt out of further mailings.
